These updates won’t require a physical patch or download, and will just be rolled out to the game server-side, meaning the team can spend some more time patching bugs and ironing out issues without focusing on extended downtime. Today, this has all changed as they’ve announced they’re dedicating every other Wednesday to be ‘Content Update’ days. Previously, Thursday has been the day for Epic to drop patches and introduce new content for Fortnite.
